Guest Instructors,
Michael Baker-Rogers and Mary Dann, founders of the Essex
Tai Chi Academy in Great Britian, led the Livonia tai chi
class on September 21. They had been in Toronto for
two weeks of further training with Sifu Ben Chung. The
Essex Tai Chi Academy is a member of the International Association
of Tai Chi and Lok Hup Academies, the worldwide organization
which promotes study of Master Moy's Tai Chi form.
"our visitors
presented a delightful presentation of warm up exercises that
had all class members trying on the old work with a new eagerness. They
also brought a refreshing confirmation that no matter how
far away Master Moy's training has traveled his true followers
have maintained a faithfulness to his form and purpose: Stand
up, sit down , share what you know and smile!"
